Studio White Earthenware

Once known as 'LT25', Studio White Earthenware is a super pliable white clay made from a mix of ball and china clays straight out of Devon and Cornwall. It’s perfect for throwing on the wheel, boasting strong green strength and firing to a lovely ivory-white shade. Its calcium content is on the higher side, so watch out—lead-free transparent glazes might turn a bit milky! To keep things crystal-clear, go for a low-solubility glaze like 2204-100M. For everyday functional pieces, the lead-free option 2206 is your trusty sidekick.
