Fire it up between 1150-1290°C (Cone 3 to 11) and watch the magic happen! This beauty features a silky-smooth texture (4 on our scale) and shrinks by 9% at 1100°C or 12% at 1200°C—plan accordingly!

Mined right here from our South Staffordshire site, this attractively flecked stoneware is a dream to throw. Whether you're crafting something delicate or going bold, it handles both with ease. Love the effect? The flecks burn beautifully through glazes, giving you that gorgeous reduction-fired look even in an oxidising kiln.

Perfect for domestic stoneware that actually gets used. Just remember to coat your kiln shelves with refractory wash—sticking is the enemy!
