Flecked Stoneware

This charmingly flecked stoneware comes from ball clays and fireclay dug near Walsall in South Staffordshire. 

It’s a joy to throw, whether you’re making tiny treasures or big beauties. The flecks peek through glazes with a cool reduction-fired look even when fired in oxidation. Ideal for crafting all your favourite thrown domestic stoneware pieces. Just remember to give your kiln shelves a good refractory wash to keep things stick free during firing!

Recommended Firing Range 1150-1290C / Cone 3 to 11
