Amaco Velvets are a favourite among pros thanks to their rich colour, reliability, and versatility.

Jet Black Velvet Underglaze offers a smooth, velvety cool black at cone 05, deepening to a richer shade by cone 5, and turning into a shiny, intense black at cone 10. Adding a clear glaze makes the colour pop beautifully at any firing temperature. Just a heads up, under SM-10 Clear Satin, the black tones might soften a bit. This silky, zinc-free satin glaze is perfect for lining or layering over underglazes. Apply two coats to really make that bold black shine!

Just remember, each batch can vary, so test your glaze before diving in!
